Rockford Rebate Process

PRIORITY ENERGY / ROCKFORD REBATE PROGRAM

REBATE RESERVATION & PROCESSING STEPS
FOR REGISTERED IHP CONTRACTORS

 

  1. Once the initial audit has been performed, complete the following data forms and submit
    them to Barb@priorityenergy.com:

    a. Residential Utility Bill Release
    b. Rebate Reservation Application ($ eligibility on form)

    Forms can be found at:
    http://energyimpactillinois.org/contractors/
    All three forms must be completed in full before any money can be reserved.

  2. Upload audit data into Architectural Energy’s REM/Rate Energy Modeling Software.
    If a contractor does not have this on-line software, contact Priority Energy and access info will
    be provided at no charge.

  3. Contractors will only need to uploaded audit data
    into the:
    a. Improvement Analysis and Design Load report files.

    b. Either simplified or detailed input is accessible

  4. Upon completion of the retrofit work, contractors should submit the following report updates
    and documents as soon as possible for rebate payout.

    a. EI2 Home Performance Contractor Reporting Form

    b. The revised REMRate Building File with Improvements inserted and the Test-Out
    documentation as required per BPI standards, to include

    c. Include photos of installed measures

    d. Copy of the invoice to the customer which clearly identifies the rebate has been given to the
    customer at the time of job completion.


  5. If the retrofit work will not be completed by the specified completion date, the contractor
    should notify Priority Energy as soon as possible.

    If Priority Energy has not been notified of an extension, Priority Energy will attempt to contact
    the auditor for one week after the due date. If there has not been contact for one week, the
    rebate reservation will be forfeited and the contractor will have to re-apply for funds.


  6. Within 24 hours of receiving test out documents, Priority Energy will let the contractor know if a
    Quality Assurance visit will be required. The contractor should coordinate this visit with the
    homeowner, Priority Energy and him/herself. If this is not possible, the contractor should work
    with Priority Energy to schedule a follow-up visit with the homeowner.

    QA Tier IHP Job Number Inspection Rate
    Tier One - First 3-5 Jobs Submitted - 100% Inspected
    Tier Two - 4 of the next 20 Jobs Submitted - 20% Inspected
    Tier Three - All Following Jobs Submitted - 5% Inspected
     
  7. Within 48 hours of receipt of the above completed documents and/or the QA approval, the
    contractor will be notified and a rebate check will be sent to them, via Priority Energy and
    Alpine Bank.
